Exterior Projects and Changes

In order to promote better understanding and adherence to Woodscape standards, guidelines and practices, please contact CYC Realty Management PRIOR to beginning any exterior work or project.

With few exceptions, you will be asked to complete an Application for Exterior Change form for HOA Board consideration and approval PRIOR to you or your contractor proceeding. Every effort will be made to assist you in completing the form by answering your questions and providing guidance about what information to include to assure your request can be properly and promptly evaluated by the Board.

Your request and receipt of prior Board approval for your exterior work or project is required, whether or not a Town Building Permit is required.

Prior discussion with CYC Realty Management allows homeowners to take advantage of the Board’s and other neighbors’ experience with similar projects. CYC Realty Management is also a good resource for homeowners with questions about home and property maintenance and repair. They are also able to assist homeowners who are looking for reputable vendor/contractor referrals.

Maintaining the quality and overall esthetic appeal of our neighborhood, requires the cooperation of every homeowner.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Single Family and Townhome Exterior Staining/Restaining

If you are contemplating staining/restaining your single family home or townhome, please contact CYC Realty Management to discuss your project and to request approval for stain and paint colors.

This is particularly important if you own a townhome unit in one of our community’s twenty (20) townhome buildings where consistency and uniformity in the exterior appearance of individual units within the same building is the standard.

Please see below for more information about Woodscape’s standards and requirements relating to color schemes, including entry doors, garage doors and roof shingles.

Woodscape Color Shemes, Entry Doors, Garage Doors and Roof Shingles

Woodscape’s exterior stain colors were originally formulated as semi-transparent stains, although homeowners and contractors have for some time preferred and commonly used solid stains to achieve better coverage and durability. Good color matches between the two types of stain was, however, often difficult for individual homeowners to achieve. Working with the help of professionals, we are now able to provide homeowners with information they will need to achieve consistently good stain color matches for Woodscape’s approved exterior color schemes.
